Physics Problem and ChatGPT

 This is a physics problem that ChatGPT is currently solving incorrectly. (I wonder how long this will last.) I am collecting problems that popular publicly available generative AI platforms cannot yet solve. (I assume that somewhere in the bowels of the Pentagon, there is a secret AI that can solve any problem.) Please help me out and see if there is a publicly available platform that finds the correct answer to this problem. And while you are at it, test yourself: Can you solve this problem?

Physics Problem:

Three charges are arranged in a straight line, with the middle charge between the other two. If the left charge moves along the original line and the distance from the middle charge to the charge on the left doubles, the middle charge experiences a net force of F₁. If the right charge moves along the original line and the distance from the middle charge to the charge on the right doubles, the middle charge experiences a net force of F₂. What is the net force experienced by the average charge if all charges remain in their original positions? Find the answer using the forces F₁ and F₂ as inputs.

AI and Astronomy

  Artificial Intelligence (AI) is currently a hot topic, and many AI-driven platforms have emerged.

I contributed to developing a laboratory work titled "Artificial Intelligence and Astronomy" for General Astronomy courses aimed at non-science students.
I hope this lab will be useful in helping students learn Astronomy while also introducing them to AI.
